What Should I Expect After Being Treated With Asclera?

Directly after treatment, wear compression stockings as directed by your provider for 2 to 3 days continuously. Then, you can transition to wearing it during the daytime for another 2 weeks. Asclera may also cause temporary side effects at the injection site which may include the following: 

  •  Bruising

  • Raised red areas

  •  Small skin sores

Post-Asclera Injection Activities: What to Avoid?

For the 2 to 3 days after treatment, steer clear of:

  • Intense exercise

  • Sun exposure

  • Extended flights

  • Hot baths, hot tubs, or saunas
